Anti-Spam Policy

SurveyGizmo has a no tolerance spam policy. SurveyGizmo’s customer support actively monitors large import lists and emails going to a large number of contacts. Any customer found to be using SurveyGizmo for spam will have their account immediately shut down and deleted.

What is Spam?

Spam is any type of unsolicited email. By sending email to only to those who have requested to receive it, you are following the CAN-SPAM act and your account will not be shut down and deleted.

Who can I send email to?
The recipient of your email must have made a purchase, requested information, responded to a questionnaire or a survey, or had offline contact with you and given you their consent to receive emails from you.

What exactly is consent?
The recipient of your email has been clearly and fully notified of the collection and use of her email address and has given you their permission prior to sending out the email.

Things that Must Be Included in Your Emails
In order to be in compliance with the CAN-SPAM act, you must provide your current physical address in the Account Settings section of your account that will be included in each message footer. You are required to maintain and promptly update this data to ensure it is current, complete and accurate. SurveyGizmo actively monitors all outgoing messages to verify that proper sender’s information is included in the message content.

Removals/ Unsubscribes
Each message sent from a SurveyGizmo account contains an unsubscribe link that cannot be removed. The link automatically updates the email invitation, so if someone unsubscribes, they will not be sent an email again from that email campaign.
You are not allowed to send messages to any individual that had been added to the mailing list, but later unsubscribed from it.

Violating our Anti-Spam Policy
You must not use SurveyGizmo to send any unsolicited and unwanted e-mail correspondence.
Appropriate actions, such as terminating a Customer’s account without notice or a refund, charging a $500 cleanup fee and/or reporting a customer and the incident to their ISP and proper authorities shall be taken should a Customer appear to perform or be performing such practices.
