Some of my email recipients are receiving an Active X error when they open up an email invite.  Once they click okay, the rest of the invite loads fine.  Any idea what is causing this?  I don't want to turn off people from responding.

Thanks,

Jessica

P.S.  The error is this:

One or more ActiveX controls could not be displayed because either:

1) Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page; or

2) You have blocked a publisher of one of the controls

As a result, the page might not display correctly.

We don't include any ActiveX in our emails. It's possible that if you pasted the content of the HTML email from a Word DOC file it inserted Word 'junk' that you didn't see and is possibly setting off those warning. Try clicking the SOURCE button on the EMAIL INVITE > EDIT CONTENT toolbar for the HTML version, and if you see a bunch of weird stuff, that's probably the problem. Check out this article as it may be the same issue, but this article is about question titles.

Thanks, Mario!  I was able to fix it by removing the code.
