I am trying to add contacts to an email invite.  I go through the steps to add a CSV file.  I select which column should be email addess, first name, last name, etc….  When I click the save contacts button, it takes me to the importing page but it says 0/0 contacts imported and has the click to continue button.  I have tried importing these contact several times with this same response.  I have imported contacts in the past with no problem.  Can you please help!  I need to send these surveys today and there are too many contacts to add manually.

Hello, Stephanie!

I couldn't find any problems with the contact import functions, I also made a test CSV file to see. Would you mind email your CSV file (to support@sgizmo.com) with an ATTN to me so that I can take a look at what might be causing the problem?

Also, what survey are you trying to import those into?

Thanks!

Hi,

I am also having this same problem importing contacts and wondering whether this got resolved.  I can also send you my file if you would like, but I just wanted to post the problem in the Forum first, since it seems like it's not an isolated problem.  I also get the “0/0″ contacts screen and nothing else happens.

Thanks!

We've run some tests and the CSV upload is working properly. One thing to try before sending it direct to support (SUBJECT: CSV upload of contacts, BODY: Survey Name and Invite Name), is to open the csv file with something simple like TextEdit (Mac) or Notepad (Windows) and copying the entire content of the .csv into the 'Add in Bulk' in SurveyGizmo.

Thanks, the copying and pasting in bulk did the trick.
