I’ve been running twice-weekly polls for the Orange County Register for several months and have good response from those signed up. But in the poll I sent out 40 minutes ago, I’ve had 60 respondents — and all have “abandoned.” Typically, I have about a 15% abandon rate, so I believe there’s a technical problem. Please advise.

Up to 84 abandoned and growing. Talked to two respondents — they said they voted and the tool behaved as usual, but there have been zero votes tallied. Very frustrating. Please advise ASAP. Thanks.

Update: 103 abandoned, none tallied. Now I’m hearing that people get the poll, but are unable to register a vote. Please advise ASAP. Thanks.

Martin,
Sorry about the disconnect. Those tallies should be accruing right now. They were queued up.

Thanks Christian. Most of them came thru, although it seems to be a bit higher number of abandoned than usual. I can live with that this time. Any suggestions on what to do if this happens again? Is this the forum the quickest way to deal with it? Is there anything I can do on my end to remedy it?
