I've sent myself a few test messages and was finally able to access and complete the survey once I unchecked the advanced “e-mail only” option. However, on the test screen, I still am seeing the message that “Content does not contain a trackable survey link merge code” for both the text and html versions. Is this because it is a test invitation only?
(It is the survey titled “Title IX.”)

Yes, 'email invitation only' will restrict you from testing with a TEST invite, it must be a real one.
Secondly, I looked at that survey and the email invite list and there are no warning as you mentioned, and when I EDIT CONTENT on the invitation, it looks fine, so maybe I'm missing something or it was changed in between your post and my reply?

Nope, same thing–when I go to the invitation for this survey and click “test,” on the panel that is titled “Checking for Common Errors and SPAM Score” is the message “Content does not contain a trackable survey link merge code ([%%SurveyLink%%])” for both the text and html versions.

Hi.
That message you see is a bug in the email invite SPAM filter tool and it will not affect your mailing in any way.
We checked to make sure your Email Invitations will have the correct link in them when you send the invitation. Your invitation content is fine.
We will have that bug fixed some time next week.
