I have a problem:

A couple of hours ago my survey ( which is still in design ) worked properly in the preview mode.

Now, I logged in and tried the preview mode and the preview mode doesn´t work properly anymore!!! I haven´t changed anything since the last time when I looked at the preview – and now, in the preview mode I have 8 (!!! ) “Thank you” pages replacing the pages which should actually be there.

In the question editor everything still  looks fine…. no 8 Thank you pages and all the pages I designed are there…

What happened ???

When I looked at “Umfrage01″ in the preview mode, the first 2 pages were ok. But then many pages were missing and the Thank You page already appeared on page 16 instead of page 24 and pages 17 to 24 were all Thank You pages.

I noticed that something went wrong because I set a page jumping logic on some pages, sending me directly to page 19 where I had to answer some more questions. but since page 19 was one of the Thank You pages, the survey was finished there.

I tried it again now and sometimes it works and sometimes not….

If you want to click exactly what I click – here is it:

I opened the Preview, clicked on the next-Button (“weiter”), clicked on the next page on the 1st alternative of the last question ( 80,81,82,83,85 ) and on the next 2 pages I clicked again the next-Button. Now I have to be on page 19 and see a question, because that´s the logic I created and it worked well until this afternoon – but instead, you see the thank you page.

I don´t know how I can apply advanced page jumping here – for example, on page 6 I have ONE question with a list of dropdowns.

I want to set the logic that no matter what is answered / even if nothing is answered, the respondent should be sent to page 19.

But when I click on actions and open the page jump logic menu the program wants me to insert a question ( one of the rows in my list of dropdowns ) what I don´t want because it doesn´t matter what the answer is – there is no rule. just the page skip logic.

How can I insert such a jump logic?

when I do it like this, won´t I have the same problem as before ?

I think before, that was what I did – I choose page 19 in the “Jump logic” section of the “Page options and logic” menu as the page to which to jump… and then the problem that page 19 isn´t always page 19 depending how many pages are left out because of the show/when triggers came….

But now I think I used next page logic, but nevertheless I am not sent to the right page! It´s the same problem like it was at the beginning! I want to be sent from page 6 to page 19 where I want to answer some more questions:

“This page has Override 'Next Page' logic:

• By default, survey takers will jump to Page 19 next.”

This is what is written on page 6.

 But I´m not sent to the right page. I´m sent to the Thank You page which, according to the questions editor, is page 24.

This actually isn't because of the Override Next-Page logic. I removed it from your survey (leaving it to go to page 7), and page 6 is still going to the Thank You page. It looks like this question used to be different – not a list of drop-down menus, and it had a simple page on it. It was recently changed to a list of drop-down menus, and the simple page jumpign was lost ebcause now its an entirely different question type, but the old page jumping is still trying to happen.

You'll want to delete and re-create the question on this page.
