Hello, Deborah!
I noticed your the “Board” survey, there were some MS Word and OpenOffice Meta tags and extra formatting that isn't directly supported in web browsers. IE is actually trying to read these and interpret them which is causing the problem. Here is an example of Source I saw in your question #5
<meta http-equiv=”CONTENT-TYPE” content=”text/html; charset=utf-8″>
<meta name=”GENERATOR” content=”OpenOffice.org 2.1 (Win32)”>
<meta name=”AUTHOR” content=”Sharon Chancellor”>
<meta name=”CREATED” content=”20090325;10030000″>
<meta name=”CHANGEDBY” content=”Myrth York”>
<meta name=”CHANGED” content=”20090408;17240000″><style type=”text/css”>
<!–
@page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in }
P { margin-bottom: 0.08in }
–</style></meta>
</meta>
</meta>
</meta>
</meta>
</meta>
We have a great tutorial link with more information about why this happens and how to fix it right here:
