For some reason, 3 days into the poll it now duplicated all of the answers in the results chart.  I didn't the reporting values.

Survey Gizmo has everything I need in a poll, but the hiccups of the last few days have me questioning my choice.

Hey, Happy Rock!

According to the user logs in our system, the reporting values originally included HTML, and were saved as such. Since then, the HTML has been removed from the reporting values, creating two different “sets” of data, both with the same text but one with HTML and the other sans.

This is why your chart is now showing double “instances” of the same data.

This just isn't true.   The first poll I created I created with HTML reporting values, but this poll was created with straight text from the beginning and was working perfectly for 3 days.

You can even see in the chart that neither set of values has HTML in it, and to my eyes the dipped reporting values look exactly the same.     Some were along the line the system dupped the reporting values.

How can the ones with no votes be deleted to fix the problem and how can the problem be avoided in the future.    With the reporting values being 'grayed' out, I am postive that I never changed it on the my latest since the poll started.

Thanks

Hey, Happy Rock!

You are absolutely right! I was looking at the wrong survey!

We did narrow it down and it seemed this is a problem just with your survey, so we delved in deeper.

It looks like the issue may be arising because of spaces ” ” in your reporting values. Simple Polls were meant to be simple, and you have extensive reporting values. The value auto-generated by each option isn't matching the values selected by respondents because of how the intital poll graph is generated – spaces don't seem to match. This looks to be the most likely culprit.

This is unintended – I've notified our development team and we'll get to work on this asap.

For now, if you change the graph to a Pie Chart, you'll be fine. It doesn't have this display issue.
