First, let me say that I LOVE SurveyGizmo.com – I reviewed everything out there at all price ranges, and the Gizmo beats everybody by a mile in every category. Look & Feel, feature set, and API availability. Thank you for making my life easy!

I am having my developer look at the API to integrate into my CMS – however I have two requests that would kill the competition.

1) Scoring Logic – more than a test. I would like to see custom scoring logic that could handle relatively complex items. Such as domain categorization that can be attached to each answer (including forced ranking where each line represents a domain).

2) Send out a custom assessment in real time. So that it’ll send out an individual report based on the scoring logic and tells them “how they scored” relative to the overall sample.

That’s a lot to ask – but wanted to ask anyway!

Thanks guys for a wonderful product and a wonderful price.

Hi Dan,

Actually you can do very complex assessment and scoring in SurveyGizmo using our Script Control Action.

It’s a powerful scripting language that lets you access the answers to a survey, create if/else latters, tally up score and even use advanced math functions like mod, log , etc so you can create a formula.

#2 can be done through a combination of Script Control and Email Auto-Responder. There are functions in the script control that let you build up email content programatically.

Naturally, if this is something that people want to do more often, we’ll build wizard around it, like we did for general quizes.

SG rocks!

I am interested in some basic scoring abilities and such that the person completing the survey can view their score and see how it rates on the score scale.

Please let me know if this is possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Glo,
Sure, we offer Quizzes at the Personal Level and higher.

At the Pro level we also offer the SurveyGizmo Scripting Control action which will allow you to program in very specific specifications to your quiz.

Hope this helps,
Chad
