Hello again - a while back (actually since last summer) who indicated you were working on a way to PDF a survey so it could be printed in a final and attractive form to distribute when internet services were not available. Have you made any progress on this or have you decided not to do it? If not PDF, is there another way to print the survey and keep the
questions together on a page - not separating part of the question to the next page?
thanks
Donna

I would like this feature as well. Would be very handy for discussing the survey with potential partners and coworkers when not online. also would be ideal for hand written comments

Add me to the list asking for this. Actually, what I’d prefer is to be able to export my survey into an electronic file suitable for circulation (.doc, .rtf, or pdf). I agree with Donna that getting an electronic copy that recognizes page length is necessary.
We need to be able to provide copies of surveys to reviewers before we send them out, so they should look as clean and well-formatted as possible!

Two options already exisit, albeit not very pretty ones.
1) edit survey - print survey - and select Adobe Acrobat or Foxit or Open Source PDFCreator as the printer and then you have it
2) publishing - export questions to word - which downloads and rtf file to your computer - ultra unformatted but at least has the text.
I see you wanted reasonable features such as not splitting a question across a page break. That was the least of my troubles. I had built is some hidden questions and want to start using piping but that of course all falls apart when you try to print.

Thanks Farrel,
We are planning on make the PDF export of the survey questions much nicer and able to print out at least basic logic (if answered Yes skip to page 5). Of course some logic just won’t work in a printed survey (like Merge Codes).
Hope this helps,
Chad

Hi, everyone.
No promises on release dates. We will let you guys know when any major releases happen.
In the meantime, watch for our weekly (usually) posts in our features roster.
