Please take them to the error (most likely a question not answered) and let them know what the error is instead of just saying error.

Hi.

In some question types, SurveyGizmo highlights the question that needs attention, but not all.

You can edit the error message to your preference under Edit Survey => Look&Feel. On that page there is a textbox labeled 'General Error Message' where  you can put in  your own message. You might want to say something more specific to your survey for your error message.
