Hi, Pam.
Whenever you make changes to your survey, you must update the survey html embed code on your website.
The reason you have some submitted surveys without data is because the html code for the embedded survey on your webpage is an old version of your survey which did not require respondents to put in their email address before going to the next page.
When people get to the Thank You page, the survey is submitted as complete. So when people ignore the first page and go to the second page of your survey, those register as submitted, but there is no data in the response.
As far as the number of abandons, it's not unusual to have a high rate of abandons. An abandon just means someone looked at your webpage but submitted no data. I don't think the amount of traffic to your site so far (50 views over 4 pages) is significant enough to make any real judgments about the rate of abandons.
Update your html embed codes and see if you get some live prospects, Pam.
I hope this helps.
