Hi

In “advanced logic and piping” I want to use the Auto Hide by Default Feature to hide a question, however I am not sure what the “equals” needs to be. Is it – the actual text of the answer? the reporting value of the answer or option1.

E.g. I have a question Which area do you operate in:

North East UK; North West UK; South East UK; South West UK; Scotland; Wales – this is a multi answer tick box as companies can work across the areas

In order to show a question later in the survey based on which are they cover for example only those who answer NE UK, NW UK, SE UK or SW UK – I have tried Auto hide by Default with equals:

/option1|option2|option3|option4/

/1|2|3|4/ (where the reporting values are 1,2,3 and 4)

/North East UK|North West UK|South East UK|South West UK/

and yet the question still shows if you click just wales.

Can you help me work this out?

Thanks

Advanced Logic Rules (Advanced Hide When Rules) use different rule writing than the Simple Show When rule, which supports /1|2|3|4/ (it should be the reporting values). You have to use the Simple Show When rule to work with checkbox questions.

Hope that helps!
