Can i put live links in the email invite to allow the recipients to click thru to either opt out of our email list or read our privacy policy? I’m confused because the input screen for the invite says it is plain text. Is there anything special that needs to be done to make these links live?
Also, is there any way to turn off the footer on the email invite as I have that information in the body of the email.
Thanks
Stuart

Hi Stuart,
For a plain text email you need to put the entire link.
Right now there is no way to remove the footer, however in the new invite system it’s included with a merge code that you can remove (but it flags an admin to check that you have a full CAN-SPAM compliant footer in the email before the email is sent.
The new invite system also handles bounces and unsubscribe requests.
It will be released before Jan 23rd.
Cheers,

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you tell me any more about how the unsubscribe option will work in the new release? Is there any way that you recommend how to do unsubscribes in the current release?
I’m trying to figure out if it’s doable now or if I shold wait for the new release next week.
Thanks
Stuart

The only way to do unsubs right now is to create an “unsub” survey. It’s a second survey that collects email addresses of people that want to get off your list. Then use the link for that survey as your unsub link.

Hi Stuart,
Unfortunately, due to backlogs and the number of service requests that have come in recently, we’ve had to push back our time-to-release of the new invite system.
We want all of our customers to get a strong system and we don’t want to rush it out.
We were planning on an end of the month release, but no promises :)
