I’m trying to create a list of responses and when I include the words “Don’t Know”, the word “don’t” appears as “don/’t” (i.e. a slash is added). When I edit the question to remove the slash and then re-save it, the software puts it in again automatically. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this? Thanks!

Hi Debbie,
What question type is this. And where are you seeing this, browse responses, editing a survey?
Thanks

Hi, Chad. My apologies for the delay in getting back to you. This problem occurred when I was creating the drop-down elements to appear within a horizontal, multi-column table. When I typed in the words “Don’t Know”, they looked fine. But, when I previewed the survey and when I went back in to look at the structure of the question, the word “Don’t” had a slash (i.e. Don/’t) added. Each time I went out of that question and then back in again, another slash was added (so, after 5 times, there were 5 slashs).
Thanks.
Debbie
