1) Who is defined as a “click-thru” when a survey is sent out to contacts? Is this different from an “abandoned” or “partial” survey?

2) When sending a survey link out, what does [%%Secure Survey Link%%] mean? Does this link contain encryption? Are all survey links encrypted?

Hi lahill,
For the Email Invite system a click-thru is when someone clicks the link in the email to get to the survey. From that point if a person leaves they’re abandoned, if they complete part of the survey they’re a partial and if they complete the survey they’re completed.

So through that whole process you will have one click-thru for that person.

Secure survey links are only avaliable to Enterprise customers, and yes it means the survey data is encrypted while in transit. Normal surveys do not have encryption on them while in transit. Once they reach our server though they are secure.

Hope this helps,
Chad

Is your comment

pertaining to all questionnaire takers or only those who arrive there via a personalized e-mail?

This has ramifications for HIPAA in medical practice and research.
