Hey guys, I have the plugin installed correctly in a wordpress installation (wdps 2.2.2) with Perl 4.4.5 on apache server. I get the following message:

“You do not have DOM or DOMXML extensions (we need one of those)”

Excuse my ignorance, but how do I take care of that? I’m not getting much information by googling it nor have I found helpful info at this site - my search attempts were futile. Any guidance is much appreciated.

Hi Kate,

The DOM or DOMXML are extensions to PHP that are required for the plugin to work.

Ask your web host if you have access to these. Some hosts have it turned off, while some installations of PHP 5 seem incompatible.

We find at some hosts the plugin just works perfectly and others have configurations that don’t seem to get along. For what’s it’s worth we have personally seen it work just great at Bluehost and DreamHost.
