Greetings: I'm working on a survey and was hoping to use dynamic page logic to determine the the next set of questions following a question that is a table of drop down menus, but it doesn't appear to work in preview. I've set it up so if they put anything in the drop down, then it should show the question. Is this possible

The question looks something like this:

Which events did you attend and how many times did you attend (leave blank if none).

                   Event 1    Event 2       Event 3     Event 4

number of times: (this would be a drop down of 1-5 under the col of each event)

If the user leaves blank (or enters a 0) then the next several questions remain hidden. But if they enter a number greater than 0 for one event but the others, then they'd see two only two of the next questions.

I'm looking into the show/hide trigger functionality for tables of drop-downs… Speaking to the developers. The setup you have should work if show/hide triggers are supported within a table. I will post here when I have more information.

Shayne,

I've confirmed that the show/hide triggers will not work in a table of drop-down menus. You will need to break the questions apart instead of the combined effect the drop-down table (if show/hide worked with it) provided. FYI, the User Interface shows that it is available because in the current version of surveygizmo, a table of drop-down menus is the same user interface as a list of multiple drop-down menus, where show/hide triggers do work, so the confusion is not easily removed from the current version.

So back to your issue, you will want to ask a checkbox question, have them select which events they have attended, and the checkboxes will have show/hide triggers for the follow-up questions, which includes a new question about the number of times they have attended an event.

Sorry for the confusion!
