Support Forums : Email invite tracking... can i know who didnt clicked the link?

Yes SurveyGizmo’s invitation system does have tracking capibility. We are able to see who clicked the link (and thus who didn’t click the link), who clicked the link but didn’t take the survey, those that only partial completed the survey, and those that completed the survey.

The only way this works is if you use our tracking link (the merge code [%%Survey Link%%]). If you’re sending an embedded survey our invitation tracking will no longer work.

You can however do your own tracking.

To do this you will need to pass a URL variable (something unique like an ID) along with your embedded link. Record that variable inside your website. Then you can then compare the IDs that you recieved in your site against the complete list of IDs from your invite.

We’re currently working on a feature to detect bounce back emails.

But to detect if an email landed in a spam folder, that’s like the Holy Grail of email marketing. If you can think of a clever solution we’d love to hear it :)
