When I import a .csv file with contact information about 1% comes back saying “The following addresses were not imported due to errors:” and ever single email shows in paranthesis “(Invalid Email Format)“

What would cause the email to be rejected?  Does it mean that the email address doesn't exist or no longer works or some other cause?

Most likely they are at a domain that is not valid. The @domain.com is not working or real, so it does not add it. Basically, the email would be undeliverable, so it stops it from being added. Also, an email address that is not valid in regards to using illegal characters would also get that error.

Thanks Mario.  We found a few of the rejected emails had typos and are going back to the other people to verify they send us the correct emails.
