When I see the fields in editing mode, several of the items show up as being on the same line, like this:

First Name     Last Name

City     State     Postal Code

However, in the survey, each field appears on a separate line like this:

First Name

Last Name

City

State

Postal Code

Is there a way to have the formatting in the survey match how it appears in editing mode? In other words, is there a way to have more than one field appear on the same line? I can't seem to find anything in the editing page that will activate that.

Thanks!

It may vary depending on the theme you've selected… here is a link using the modern blue-grey theme (default) where it displays as expected:

Select the only option in the drop-down and click next to see the form.

Okay; got it. It looks fine with the blue-grey theme.

I was using “Tuscan Red.” It does not work with that theme, or with the Gizmo Blue-Gold theme (I didn't check any others). Y'all might want to change that…

Thanks for your help!

Themes were created over time, so as surveygizmo evolved, so did the themes. I'm sure there will be an overhaul when surveygizmo version 2 comes out, because we'll be taking accessibility to an even higher level.
