Is there a way to set up a survey so that questions are hidden if the survey-taker provides a particular answer? For example: If the answer to question 3 is yes, the respondent will be than asked to skip to question 6. Can questions 4 and 5 then be hidden from the respondent?
How do we implement this function? Thanks!

You can do this across pages, questions or pages after the question on the page you have the 'source' question on, you can setup SHOW-WHEN logic that decides whether the question and/or page is shown. Edit the Page Options & Logic or advanced edit the questions and you will see the Simple Show-When Rules.

Hello Mario,
Is this option available on the free version? Is it on Show/Hide Controls?
A problem interpreting :) …. It shows : Hide After Answering this question will hide itself after it is answered (Radio only). I dont know if it means what I want to mean… :)

Ah, no, logic (show/hide triggers and show-when rules) are pay features, with the former being personal, and the latter being pro level. I'm sorry I didn't make that clear previously.
You may be able to implement your idea at the personal level if they are on the same page (show/hide triggers). Here is the tutorial on that feature: http://www.surveygizmo.com/tutorials/survey-dynamic-show-hide-questions/

Hi Moaria,
I have the free version and when trying to do “Step 2: Choose a “trigger” question” of your mentioned tutorial, I noticed that the option SHOW/ HIDE TRiGGERS is not offered in my form. Am I doing it right or do I missed to do another step beforehand?
Thanks.

Hi.
The Show/Hide logic is only available for Pro and Enterprise level accounts. That's why you don't have that feature available in your free account.
Best, Cheri

Hi Cheri,
but Mario just wrote “You may be able to implement your idea at the personal level if they are on the same page (show/hide triggers). Here is the tutorial on that feature: http://www.surveygizmo.com/tutorials/survey-dynamic-show-hide-questions/“
I just would like to use the function on one page.. I thought this would be possible for the free account?
Thanks.

The free account does not support any logic. The interface shows part of the options for show/hide triggers, but the key components described in that tutorial are not available in the free version. All questions are always visible in the free version.
