I created a table of textboxes question, which contains 4 rows of questions.  Recipients are expected to enter in values to the right of the questions.  I can label the columns to the right of the questions.  How do I label the column that contains the questions?

Does that make sense?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Editing the question you will find the 'Column Headings' section which allows you to label each column.

Let me know if I misunderstood.

Hey Mario,

Thanks so much for getting back to me - I really appreciate it.  In response to your post:

Imagine if you had a 5 by 5 multi-textbox question - let's take Excel to be more concrete.  If I had a 5×5 spreadsheet, I'd have data from Column A to Column E, from Row 1 to Row 5.  Now, I normally label the cells of Row 1 with Column headings.  This is anagolous, I promise you.

But basically, in my survey I'd want to label the cell equivalent to cell A1.  The Column Headings section allows me to add column headings, but for B1, C1, D1, and E1 - not A1.  My questions begin in Row2 and continue to Row5, for instance (I don't actually have a 5×5 table - it's much larger than that, but you get the idea).

Does that make sense?  So ideally, I'd like to be able to label A1 as well.

Any ideas?

Many thanks,

V

Gotcha, adding a heading to the first column in a matrix, text heading for the row titles essentially. Yeah, not possible to edit that unfortunately without using javascript, and thus not terribly simple unfortunately, there is no mechanism built into surveygizmo's survey editor to do that.
