Hi
How come I can view partially saved responses (individually) but not download them as part of a report eg.xls
I would like to be able to do this to see if there is a common point at which those taking the survey drop out.
The ony option seems to be to ‘view’ each one and then cut and paste - which would be incredibly time consuming oviously!
Would be happy to see an overview of all but at the moment can only see all - completed and partial - the answeres to the first two questions.
Thanks
Deborah

Hi Deborah,
What kind of account do you have with us?
At the personal level we actually enable an option in the excel export that lets you export both complete responses and partials. It’s one of those weird feature placements that only makes sense to our sales team :)

Hi
I’m afraid I’m still getting by on the free account (we are just a group of volunteers maintaining a web site).
But I noticed when view individual answers from the web site I could look at all including those partially completed (as opposed to those abandoned).
So just thought there must be some way to download but the csv file I downloaded didn’t include the partials.
If its because they’ve given up because they find the survey to long should I add a message on each page saying if you cant complete all of it please skip to the end and click on submit survey?
And can I ask those who did stop half way through to come back and complete their survey?
Thanks
Deborah
PS I had the problem I asked about before about not being able to add a meaningful name - it just greys out. Is that because in the free account you can only have one?

Hi Debora,
We don’t allow Free accounts to download partial responses because then we’d have to count partials against your 250 response limit.
If you want you can upgrade to a Personal account just for a month and downgrade after you have your results. We don’t hold you to a contract and you can downgrade at anytime.
Hope this helps,
Chad

Hi
Thanks for that.
If possible can you confirm that if I paid for one month’s personal account that it would include being able to access the partially completed responses in a survey already created under the free acount.
Many thanks
Deborah

Hi, Deborah.
Yes, that’s correct. If you upgrade, you will have access to the partials that were part of a survey that you created and launched with the free account–as long as the account level you upgrade to allows that number. For example, if you upgrade to a Personal account, you will be allowed 1,000 responses.
I hope this clarifies it for you,
–Cheri
