Hello!

I need some help with setting up the following type of questions in a survey.

We wish to display a set of 9 images and have the respondent classify them into three buckets (1-definitely,2-maybe,3-never).

Then, we wish to have the values based on images selected for categories 1 and 2 feed into the next question ( a ranking question).

Any ideas on how to implement this in SG. We are currently able to do a multi-image selection (binary response) and use a simple piping to feed into the ranking question, but are looking for some way of capturing the responses more granularly in the first question.

Thanks!

Sanjay

Hi, Sanjay.

Could you please clarify what you mean by “some way of capturing responses more granularly in the first question?”

Thanks,

Cheri

Hi Cheryl:

An image selection question type allows a user to place concepts into two buckets (selected/unselected). What we want is to be able to have a user classify the concepts into three buckets, and then be able to pipe one or two of the buckets into the next question.

Hope this clarifies.

Hi, Sanjay.

Yes, you can do this in SurveyGizmo this way:

For the pictures, ask a question that says something like: Please select the images below that you would definitely or maybe purchase. Do not select any image that you would never purchase.”

Then make that an image choice question type. You will need to size and upload your images into your image library first. Then when you create the image choice question, you will be able to put them in your question.

Then make a new page and use option piping to bring their selections into the ranking question.

Then, to drill down and find out if they would maybe purchase or definitely purchase, create another radio button question that asks “How likely would you be to purchase [PIPED VALUE]?

Definitely
Maybe

Use question piping on this question.

I hope this helps!
