Importing Contacts from Excel into Email Invite

When I go to import an excel sheet into the contacts for an email invite it says that there is either an error or it's empty. How do I remedy this, or what am I doing wrong?

Hi, Tyler.

If you save your Excel sheet in Excel as a .csv file first and then upload it, it will be faster and work better.
