You bet there is.

On the Thank You page of your survey you want to click Add Action and then choose “Redirect Browser”. This will allow you to specify any website to send the page to. The Thank You page will not show up put rather redirect immediately.

By the way many of our competitors require paid accounts to get this feature, but at SurveyGizmo redirecting your survey is available for all accounts even the free ones! :-)

Thanks
Scott

Hi, I have another question related to browser redirects. When a survey recipient is redirected to a URL contact form from an embedded survey,is that new browser that needs to open up affected by pop-up blocking?

Thanks,
Lisa

Hi Lisa,

Actually no, becuase it opens a complete window, not a popup window. :)

Is there a way to delay the redirect? For example, we want the Thank you page to show up first, then redirect after 10 seconds.

Narissa -

Our redirect doesn’t have a time delay ability yet…it’s possible this is something that could be added in the future though.

One possibility would be using using javascript to redirect, which can include time delays. javascript code can easily be embedded in templates, and you’d have to call the function off your thank you page.

Another redirect question: I’d like the respondent to be redirected to a thank you page on my site - with the survey results posted there. I have instructed a pie chart to be created and it shows up in the “edit survey” - but not when I test it. I have copied the html into my “thank you page”. What am I doing wrong?

Hilary,

Can you send me a link to your thank you page? Also, do you have any data collected in your survey yet? The charts will not appear until there is some data to graph.

HI Christian

Thanks for getting back to me! Here is the link to where I have set up a test to try out the survey. I have tested it quite a few times, so there is data. http://www.transformtools.com/happiness/index.html

By the way I just discovered your product yesterday and so far it looks like exactly what I’ve been looking for! I appreciate being able to test out the functionality before upgrading.

Hi Lisa,

adding this code to your website should insert the graph just fine:

<img serc=”http://app.sgizmo.com/chart/18414-1G1LQS&crt=7″ border=0 />

Note: If you copy and paste from this forum, you’ll likely have to fix the ‘fancy’ double qoutes for normal ones for this to work.
