I plan on emailing out a survey to our customers after their item delivery date has passed.  We use MailChimp for our email campaigns and are most likely going to send our surveys out through there since it has an API for updating contacts and sending out campaigns.  The SurveyGizmo link will be appended with ?orderid=1234&sku=111.  Is there a way to prevent the survey for orderid = 1234 from being submitted twice?

Hey Beezle!

What you'd be looking for is our Duplicate Response protection by URL variable. You'll want to modify the query string to change “orderid” to “sgUID” which we can use to de-dupe the responses, so your new query string would be ?sgUID=1234&sku=111

Once thats done, you'll want to click into your Advanced Options, just under your “Edit Survey” tab and enable your Duplicate Response protection by URL variable.

I hope this helps!

Sweet.  I wasn't sure if sgUID was assigned by SurveyGizmo or if it was something we were free to use.  Thanks a lot :)
