Hi, Heather.
To accomplish this, put each group of questions on separate pages. Then go to the Thank You page of your survey, click Add actions and then click the radio button labeled ‘Quiz Score’. It’s a good idea to give the quiz score action a name such as questions 1-4. Then save.
Then copy that Quiz Score question as many times as you have pages (groups of questions) that you want scores for. For example, if you have 4 pages to score, make the first Quiz Score question, then copy it 3 times.
You copy a question by clicking the little copy icon on the left side of the question.
Then click on the link in the first Quiz Score question that is labeled ‘Edit this item to change the answer key’. When the question opens up, first indicate which scoring method you want to use–pass/fail or tally (add up points). Then just fill in the correct answers or points for the questions on that page–not for the questions on the other pages. Type in the messages for the survey taker in the boxes provided. Save.
Then go to the second Quiz Score question and click the edit link. You could rename the question title for the questions it is scoring, Fill in the type of scoring you want and the correct answers/point for the question on that page, messages to the survey takers. Save.
Do this for each question group.
When someone finishes the survey, he/she will see a message that you set up and his/her score for each page of the survey.
You can go to Browse Responses and open each individual’s response, go to the Thank You page data and you will see the person’s score for each page there.
You can also customize the view in the table in Browse Responses to see the scores for each person without opening their response.
You will need a Pro level account to access the Quiz Score feature.
Pretty cool, huh?!
