Hi,
I want to use the survey tool to capture some data, so on completion of the survey I want a fresh survey to open up and capture the new data,
Can this be done, what is the best way to acheive this?
Thanks

Yes, I have the same requirement. I would like my survey responders to take the survey twice but it refuses to let them submit twice. One has even restarted her computer but it still refused to let her submit a second time.
Thanks for any insights.

I have worked on this with still no solution, the issue seems to be with cookies through, I find that if you delete the cookies after each survye it will work, this off course is a pain and not ideal.

Within EDIT SURVEY > ADVANCED OPTIONS, there are some ‘duplication’ options that can either stop people from retaking the survey by IP, by a cookie placed on their system, or not at all. Double-check your settings there to make sure it is not set to restrict users.

That is the first thing I checked, I use the default settings with duplicate set to none, it appears that SG leaves cookies regardless. I have used IE and Firefox, the issues exists in both browsers and the only way to get around it is to either delete or disable cookies.
I suspect (I may be wrong) that the error maybe caused by the Save & Continue Function, it seems even if you complete the survey the Save & Continue insists on working, can this be turned off?

Hi Leibiniz,
Wow good work. Correct on all accounts. The cookie we place on your computer is a session cookie that tracks the person taking the survey until it expires (usually in 20 minutes).
This way if you accidentally close the survey and way to get back you can just click the link again to get back into the survey. In your case it was taking you back into your original response instead of a new response like you wanted.
The cookie is destroyed once you complete a survey (reach the Thank You page, last page in the survey) and you’ll be able to start a new response from there.
In other words put a redirect back to the survey link on the Thank You page.
Hope this helps,
Chad
