This worked in the past but I’ve been having trouble lately. I’m trying to push text from the survey to the subscriber’s ExactTarget profile but am getting these three messages for each respondent:
Jul 10 2008 08:44 AM
Error: addsubscriber:The subscriber already exists in the list
Jul 10 2008 08:45 AM
Success: Subscriber Updated
Jul 10 2008 08:45 AM
Error: sendsingle:The search_value2 must be a subscriber id to send to
Can you help me figure out what’s going wrong? In another question, the survey is successfully pulling information from ExactTarget so the two programs seem to be communicating ok at the account level.

Hi there,
It looks like we are being a little over zealous in our logging that’s all. From the looks of things everything is working right.
The ‘errors’ are simply surveygizmo checking to see if the customer exists (ET doesn’t have an upsert function, so we try adding before updating). Then the last item is surveygizmo testing to see if you wanted to send an autoresponder.
You can ignore those messages (until we get rid of them). We are testing improved versions of all our questions, actions and well… everything next week as we prep for a major release.
I’ve added this item to the testing schedule.
Thanks for letting us know! Sorry about the concern it might have caused.
Cheers,
-Christian

Christian,
Thanks for the reply. I think I may have been a little vague in my last post. Actually, the text we’re trying to push to ET isn’t getting pushed. It used to work but doesn’t any more but I haven’t changed anything so I can’t figure out why it’s not working.
We’re able to pull info from ET but can’t push info to it. That’s where the error is occurring right now.
Thanks!
Andy

The error we were seeing is ‘Login failed’, and as of yesterday made some further updates regarding the saving of your password within the action.
If you could login to the survey and edit the Action that is not running properly then Save it (even without making any changes) and finally retest, it will most likely process correctly after that. Let us know if not and we can check for a new error in the error log.

It’s happening again. It was working again last week but now I’m getting the same error as before. The information from ET is populating the survey just fine but the information that is supposed to be pushed back to ET is not working.

Andy,
Just wanted to let you know that I’ve compiled some info and passed it up the chain to be looked into further. I assumed this was related to the survey “Official 2008 ING CRM Survey”?
