I’m having trouble with prepopulation! My ultimate goal is to get data (lbs) about specific products over multiple years from companies. I have created the first question as a check-off list of types of products. I would like the second question to prepopulate these chosen products into a table with textboxes, where the respondent can add the data about their products. The check-off list is fairly long, and I would like to list it in its entirety as few times as possible. Is this possible?

Also, I would like to be able to guarantee respondents that their data will not be able to be linked to them, even by myself. Do you have any sort of documentation of this that can be displayed on the survey form?

Hi Lindsay,
Sure you can do this. The feature is called Piping and is available at the Pro level and higher.

How this works: Each option selected in a previous question can be used in a new question.

Either by bringing in the options straight into a new question. Adding rows into a table where the where the row headers are the selected options. Adding columns into a table where the column headers are the selected options. Repeating a page for every option selected. Or repeating a question for every option selected.

We have a feature called Anonymous Surveys. This will remove any IP or cookie tracking data we collect. Of course if you ask the survey taker their name in the survey or use our email invitation system (with save and continue ability enabled) there’s no way we can prevent the tracking from that.
