Support Forums : Problem maintaining size of text box in Custom Group item

I have developed Custom Group items that contain a combination of radio button, text box, and essay sub-items. I would like the text box size to be 60 characters (instead of the default 30), so have set that parameter on the Edit Question page.

However, I am finding that if I make any changes anywhere within the Custom Group, that setting reverts back to the default of 30 characters (e.g., if I drop an item from within the group, or change the wording of any item within the group, etc.). This is very aggravating because I then have to manually reset the text box size every time I make another change somewhere else within the group.  (This does not happen, however, with the essay items; the size of the essay box remains what I have set it to be even if I edit other items.)

Is there a way to change the textbox size and make it “stick” even when I make changes to other items within the group? Or, is this a programming “glitch”?
