Hi

I am evaluating Survey Gizmo with a view to replacing our current online survey tool and I was wondering whether you can have a question like that shown below:

Q6

Below is a series of descriptive words that have been grouped in pairs of opposites that may refer to something. The closer to the left you mark, the more you agree with the statement on the left. The closer to the right you mark, the more you agree with that statement.

Please mark one box for each pair of descriptive words below.
1 2 3 4 5 6
Open Secretive
Decisive Indecisive
Consistent Inconsistent
Quality focused Haphazard
Democratic Dictatorial

I was thinking that either radio buttons for the numbers or a sliding scale type arrangement. I have looked at the question examples and cant see anything like this. Is it possible to do a question like this - I would be using the Pro account if we were to go ahead and decide to use this software.

I look forward to your help

Thanks
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
This could be done with a Rating Scale Question type.

We don’t actually have a sliding scale question type. That question type wouldn’t be accessible (screen readers couldn’t understand the sliding scale, blind people couldn’t use it). Due to this we’re still deciding if we should develop this question type or not.

Hope this helps,
Chad
