Hi,

I'm just writing some excel applications to pull down our survey responses and I was wanting to make my routines as idiot proof as possible.  Is there some sort of format that the survey ID and respondant ID numbers follow (as in always 6 digits)? I would like this so I can write my classes to check the ids so whoever configures the survey can't put in the wrong format.

Cheers,

Andrew

Hey, Andrew!

Response ID's and Survey ID's are sequencial across all of SurveyGizmo. The first survey ever had an ID of “1″, and we built off of that across all acounts so every survey and response no matter whether just for one user, account or across all of surveygizmo, each have a unique ID. Once we get past 6 digits in Survey ID's (IE, past 999,999) we'll move into 1,000,000 and go forward from there.
