I am about to submit my research proposal and need to include an e-copy of my survey as an appendix to the electronic document. Is there anyway to do this other than printing it off and then scanning each page? It does not need to be useable, just readable.

Hi Donna,

The new spellcheck button is in the rich text editor for each question. It should be to the right of the italics button.

Hmm, we have a Export your Survey to Text option under Reporting->Data Options. This creates a plaintext version of your entire survey.

Would that work?

Not really - when I export to data it lists the responses on an excel spreadsheet - but doesn’t show the full question or possible answers. It is good for analysis but not to demonstrate/verify the contents and look of my survey. although I am doing this survey as paert of my thesis, and thus need to submit it along with the text portion of my results to the university, I would also want tot be able to include a visual copy of any surveys in subsequent research reports I would be doing in my work place? any other suggestions?
And I think I have a mental /visual block - I can’t see the any spell check button? what does it say? or look like?

Actually that’s exactly what we offer with that export. No data, just thw questions & options.

It’s under reporting then click on “data options” from the subnav. It’s called “Export your Survey to Text”. It’s not an Export, really. It’s just a text version of your survey.

It exports all your questions and thier multiple choice options, but no collected data.

The spell check looks like a check mark, with “ABC” under it. You might need to clear your browser cache to see it.

It’s in the question editor for each question on your survey.

Once again - you have the answers! as you suggested, clearing the cache revealed the spell check - a most welcome edition. Also looking under data options -> export your survey->expert questions-text layout - works for my purposes. It will need a little tiding up but that sure beats scanning or retyping. thanks for this ability!
