hi there,
does surveygizmo have the functionality to create a set of dropdown options, and if the user comes to the dropdown in the survey and wishes to add an option to the list he can do so?
this is critical for my requirements and I have looked but cant seem to see if this is possible…
thanks for the help

You could provide a textbox or multi-textbox question for them to input their answers, and then on the drop-down menu question, pipe the options from the textbox/multi-textbox question, thus allowing their answers to be options within the drop-down. It would require Option Piping which is a Pro or Enterprise level feature.

Is there a way to Pipe a specific response into a drop down menu?
I have a question with Other as an option.
What I want to be able to do is Pipe just the Other, if there is a value, answer from the question and have that show up in a drop down menu for another question…
Is this possible and how is it done?

Hi,
No, you won't be able to selectively pipe an option.
With custom scripting, you could manage it by sending the other option data to a hidden field and then piping in that value. Custom scripting does require programming knowledge. Here's a link to more information about custom scripting:

I hope that helps.
