Hi Josh,
Yes. If you use our email invite tool it will automatically track who has and who has not filled out the survey. When you export to CSV (Excel) it will list their email in contact information out right next to their response.
If you don’t use our email invite tool (in case you have an email service provider you want to use instead) you can still track this — but you need to pass the email address into the survey using a link variable (or behind the scenes if you use an ESP we are integrated with with).
Cheers,
-Christian

Hi Christian,
I am trying to export email addresses into Excel, but it doesn't seem to be working. How do I know if I used the email invite tool? If I did not use the email invite tool how can I pass the email address into the survey using a link variable as you described above?
Thanks! Danielle

Wow! Thanks for the fast response! When I export my survey info as an Exel Spreadsheet. ( By clicking on “Export to Text/Spreadsheet” under the Export Data section), my spreadsheet does not show email addresses at all.
My manager (who's currently on vacation) emailed instructions to me, but they did not include any information about the link variable, so I think she was able to export the email addresses without that step yesterday. Do you have any tips for me?
Thanks! Danielle

Hey, Danielle!
Ah, you're exporting your survey results directly. Lets ignore everything from beforehand!
Iif you export your results, should open up your excel spreadsheet and scroll about halfway through the spreadsheet to the right. There's a column (should be about column CM) called “Please enter your email address (this information will be used to send you your coupon code upon completion of the survey).”
This is a question within your survey, and all of the results in that column are your respondents email addresses.
