Hi,
I am trying to create a short 10-item quiz. I have 20 questions created, but only want to ask 10 randomly chosen ones out of that 20. I used the bulk questions page option to limit the amount of questions presented, but the scoring key is still out of 20. Is there any way to only score the presented questions?

Hi Alan,
Well… I didn’t quite anticipate these two features being used together… but very cool idea!
My suggestion would be to switch from an ‘answer key’ quiz type to a ‘tally’ quiz type.
That way you can score based on the addition of the values rather than a percentage.
Does that help? I’ll also look into making the quiz score only score visible questions.
Cheers,
-Christian

Hi,
The tally scoring works for the grading, but it doesn’t seem to allow feedback on the actual score. [[QuestionsCorrect]] from answer key scoring does not work with tally scoring. Something to consider adding for the future?

[[QuizScore]] will provide you with the numeric total of their tally total. That doesn’t break down the points per question, but does give their final score.
