How to Import spreadsheet into existing SG survey

First, SurveyGizmo is great!

Now, two questions please:

1. What’s the best way to troubleshoot/diagnose abandoned surveys? I noticed that there’s info for partial surveys (ip address, longitude and latitude, browser type) but no info on abandoned surveys.

2. We have a few hundred completed printed surveys (the printed questions are ALMOST identical to the our SG survey) that need to be entered into SG for tabulation and analysis.

Which do you recommend? Having someone manually transcibe the paper surveys onto surveygizmo by taking one survey at a time online? Or entering the print survey data via an imported spreadsheet?

Thank you,

Bob

1) Abandoned surveys are people who loaded the survey but never clicked ‘next page’ (which is when data is submitted to surveygizmo). Therefore, there is no data for them, outside the fact that they changed their mind about taking the survey (multi-page surveys can help with this, and a short opening page).
2) There are some methods for importing the data from a spreadsheet into a survey, but it’s part of our professional services at a cost. The easiest method is simply to have someone transcribe the paper responses into the survey manually by taking it online over and over, since we would require a spreadsheet anyway, and creating that would be as much or more work than entering the data directly.
