Before I brought the program, I phoned Gizmo office and asked if the feature I describe below was possible, and now I am at the stage of development where I incorportate this. I do not understand writing program language well at all and am frustrated. I need to figure out WHAT the script will look like, and HOW it will be sent (will it be in the body of the email or do I have to create it as an attachment somehow?).

Could somebody please point me in the direction of a tutorial that could help? Thanks in advance.

GOAL: At beginning of survey, ask customer which background they would like their results sent to them on, supplied as pics in radio button format. When they are done the survey, the results get emailed to them with their choice of background behind the sentences comprising their results, like a pretty picture with writing on it.

Hi Polar Mom,
This is actually rather complicated, and is something we haven’t tried before but should technically work.

You can either hire us to do this for you through our Professional Services or you can do this yourself if you are confident enough with HTML and CSS.

To do this first create the Image choice question that asks which background they want. Then sent the reporting values for each background as the URL to the image. You can then use the merge code in the HTML version of the email to merge in the URL to the appropriate image.

If this sounds like something you’d rather have us do please email your request, requirements and files (the images and thumb-nail images) to support[at]sgizmo.com.

Hope this helps,
Chad
