Hi – I would like a user to be able to click on a link for ‘more information’ that either appears in a new window or only pops up with a scroll over. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Bill -
You’d probably have to use some clever javascript to get a pure pop that blockers wouldn’t squash. A quick google for javascript popup will get you some code there.
You could also just do a new window by specifying it in your URL/hyperlink:
Your Link Here
with the code looking like:
href=”http://www.yourlink.com” target=”_blank”>Your Link Here
target=blank will open it in a new browser window

I’ll give the second option a shot. Thanks for recommending the first!

You also have the option in the SurveyGizmo editor’s “create link” function, which itself is a popup window, to create a popup window for your link, and you can specify its parameters (width, scrollbars, etc) without having to know scripting code.

I don’t find the “create link” function. Is this function not available for free users.
It would be very helpfull if someone could help me with this. I would really need a pop up window for additional information.
Thanks!

Hi, Kelle.
The link create/edit is in the question editor. Just go to any question and click the Edit icon–the little notebook on the left side.
The link editor is in the WYSIWYG editor.

I created a link with a new pop up window as described above. The link is another survey at surveygizmo with additional information to the question. The problem is when I close the link with the additional information and click to the next page it always jumps on the second page of the survey with the additional information and not on the second page with more questions. Has anyone a clue how it is possible to solve this problem? Either I thought about deleting the second page with the additional information (thank you page–> how can I delete this page!?) or to use another source! Has anyone an idee which other source I could use and how?
Thanks!

Kelle,
Can you email support with a link to your survey? I think I need to see this for myself in order to help you.
Cheers,
