Two questions:
Is it possible to place a button at the end of a test to ‘Try again’ ?
Having set up a test (or a survey) how can I ‘Save As’ to a second file name?

You can copy a survey by clicking on the double-document icon on the home page of surveygizmo. I think that’s what you are looking for.

You can also add buttons to you survey. Simply add the HTML to the Look and Feel template. For example, adding this under the ‘default’ button options will add a second button that will redirect them to google (just as an example).

< input type=”button” value=”Go to Google!” onclick=”window.location = ‘http://www.google.com’;” />

Yes, Thanks, Christian, I found the ‘Copy’ button OK!

However, in order to make a quiz more user-friendly, the buttons I specifically want are:

‘Retry’, ‘Submit’ and ‘Quit’ - obviously an experienced person migh use the ‘refresh’ icon or just crash out, but I would like to have a more dignified way, particulary for younger children with the ‘Retry’ and ‘Submit’ buttons.

Quiz Scoring

Hi,

As a teacher I’m getting really excited about the quiz option. I think that it will be a real winner in schools - and much cheaper than one famous brand presently used in schools that can afford it!

However, before I try promoting SurveyGizmo in schools and colleges I need to sort out some ‘bugs’ or issues that I don’t understand:

1. The ‘Insert Logo’ facility does not appear to work for me although it works in my surveys!

2. I cannot find any documentation on scoring for quizes. So far I have set up a little test quiz of three questions but I get the result: ‘You have failed - scoring 0 out of 1 questions.’

Am I really the first to struggle with quizzes?

re inserting a logo

I’ve discovered that once I have placed images in the library I then have to select the image from the library, copy the URL of that image and then paste the URL back into the editor! - Seems a bit strange! Having selected the image why doesn’t it copy straight to the editor?

Hi Ray,

We are actually replacing that entire page this week.. we are testing the new theme editor over the weekend. That’s just one of many issues that will be resolved with this new theme editor :)
