Hi - I would like to be able to ask the participants to rank their top 3 items out of a list of 10-12 items. Is there a way to do this by having them but the numbers. 1, 2 & 3 in the checkboxes instead of using your fancy ranking system - it’s pretty but some of my participants will need to use a hard-copy of my survey and it won’t work so well for them - also I only wanted the top 3 items, not all items ranked.
thanks

Hi Donna-
Your best bet solution for this would be to use the “Multi-Textbox” question type.

You can then add as many list items as you want that your computer users can type answers into, or your hardcopy users can write the answers into. You will need to tally the results manually.

You’ll probably want to change the “TextBox Size” under “Basic Formatting” for your multi-textbox. Setting it to a width of 2-4 will make sure there is only room for numbers.

If you have any further questions please let us know!
