Hi! I’m currently testing your free version and I might have missed the feature I’m looking for regarding anonymity of survey responses.

I use a survey tool which offers two options: 1) anonymous responses - I don’t know who has already taken the survey; 2) respondent tracking - I know who participated and what their responses are.

We deploy surveys to respondents using one IP address and we cannot use the two options mentioned above as we would like to know if the respondents have already taken the survey without knowing their individual responses.

Does SG have this feature?

Thanks in advance.

Daphne,

We sure do (at the Pro level) which is why you didn’t see it! (I’m mention to our marketing guys… a clear upgrade path might be a good idea, lol).

Anyways! Yes, you can do that using an Anonymous Survey and Vote Protection. Our Vote Protection works with cookies (or by IP), so if they return to the survey they are given a custom message and stopped.

You can also do some nifty things with Custom Scripts and passing variables through the URL if your needs go above and beyond. :)

Cheers,

-Christian
