I need the WSDL file for each web service to which my company subscribes.  I can consume the web service like getSurveyList but to automate to queries to Gizmo, I need access to the WSDL file.  Please help.

Our api is a Restful api and doesn't have a WSDL.  Our experimental web services API does, but we are limiting exposure due to development changes in preparation for the next version of SurveyGizmo (later in 2009).

Could you explain what the plans for the new API will be?

Will surveygizmo make a move to a SOAP-style API rather than a RESTful API? (because the new API will have a WSDL)

Thanks in advance,

They will both exist in parallel (v1.1 and v2 APIs). The details for the next API will be available upon release.

Thanks for your reply,

I would however like to know why a SOAP-style API was needed, would this be because of demand by customers of sGizmo?

(Not saying it's bad as I personally prefer the SOAP-way which delivers more security and easiness in programming.)

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

How goes the new API (2.0)? Are we looking at a release date towards the end of 2009 or fairly soon?

I'm happy to be a beta tester if you are looking.

Hey, Paul!

The next version of our API is still under development and we're hoping to schedule the release shortly after the next version of our application is released (which we're pushing for sometime this year, hopefully next quarter).
