Say for example one person sits down at a computer and takes
a survey. They complete the survey and then get up only to be immediately
followed by another who is taking the survey. My question is will the computer have remembered the previous answers so the second user can see how the first responded?

No, provided the next person clicks on the original survey link. They will not see each others responses.
