Is there a way to change a respondents answer?  They accidently entered the wrong city and I want to make sure I capture it in my final results.

Hi, aileen.

Yes, you can go into that person's response in Browser Responses and click the Edit Link which will take you to their survey. Enter the correct information and then click clear through to the Thank You page (very important) to resubmit their survey.

Does this mean you have to reanswer all questions? For instance, I notice one respondent failled to specify whether their location is city or town, and I want to fix that. Can I just click on that question adn go to submit survey (my survey is on one page) or to I have to reconfirm every other answer as well.

thanks.

Hey, Yose!

Don't worry, all of the answers that your respondent has alreay filled out will be pre-selected, you'll only need to modify whichever answers(s) you're changing or adding.

I have tried this but the change I make is not saved? Does it not work for free accounts? Or is it not working right now?

Hello, lbruce!

Have you clicked through to the end of that survey response? If the response has been completed before you go in ot edit it, you will need to follow the survey to the end (the “Thank You” page) to re-submit the survey response – then it may take a minute or two for that new updated version fo the response to process.

I have done this successfully in the past but with one survey I have changed the answer and submitted about 10 times.  The edit link show the right answer but the summary overview is still showing the old answer.Cry

Click 'Trigger Reconstruction' at the bottom of the response (click the view link to view the individual response directly). It's likely that the response has some mixed up backup files causing the conflict. If that does not work, you will need to send the details (including the specific question, email address for your account, survey name, response id, and the option that shows in edit and the one that shows in the overview) to support@sgizmo.com and we can look into it further.

Clicking the Trigger Reconstruction did it for me. If anybody else is having this problem just try that.
