This is a great feature, but the table is limited in width to only 3 drop down menu's before it starts to move off the page. Any suggestions on sizing? I am having problems trying to figure out how to reduce the box size and it looks like the drop down menu boxes are not able to be reduced. Any help appreciated.

Hello again, Deb!
You can reduce the size of the drop-down menu by limiting the amount of TEXT that you enter in as each option. The longer the options, the longer the drop-down.
In another view, you can also click into the “Look & Feel” section of your survey, and make your survey wider by changing the “Survey Width”. You can also split up your columns into separate tables – if you have six columns, just make two tables with 3 columns each. =D

I was really hoping the table sizing would be smart enough to auto size. This is a real problem because I'm trying to build a table that asks people how frequently they use certain features. Row = feature and column = frequency description. This is a piece of cake with survey monkey. I really don't like trying to resize by trial and error. boo!!

Hi Mickey,
Sorry for the confusion about the question editor view versus the preview. The question editor has a simplified view in order to facilitate the large amount of control we give users over the Look & Feel of individual questions and the survey template as a whole. In order to speed up the testing process, you can keep a tab/window open with the preview of the survey and can refresh it when you need to check how something renders within the survey itself.
Let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. We appreciate the feedback!
Best,
Marybeth
