I have designed a survey with multiple-choice responses (radio buttons) of Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, and Unknown. I would like to create a report that omits the Unknown responses. I have tried setting up multiple filters, one for each question, that selects “any” responses that “do not equal” “Unkown.” However, when I run that report, the unknown responses are still included in the reports for each item. Any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks…

Hi, Ingrid.
Try filtering for 'any' responses that equal Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor.
I hope this helps, Ingrid!

I tried that too, and the report still includes “Uknown” responses! Anyone have any other suggestions?

Hello, Ingrid!
I'd like to look at this for you, but there's quite a few surveys on your account. Could you tell me which survey, and which question it is?
What type of filter are you using? Are you running a summary report or exporting your data as text?
Thanks!

Jonathan,
Thanks for agreeing to take a look. The survey in question is in the Closed section; it's titled LVT Executive Director Evaluation. I am trying to set up a filter on all the questions that include “Uknown” as one (or more) of the responses, and filter OUT the Unknown responses. I am running into this problem when I try to run a summary report in Survey Gizmo.

Hello, Ingrid!
I just modified your summary report entitled “Response Summary Report–Filtered 2″ using the “Any and All” option, and selecting all but the “Unknown” option, and the report now only has 7 responses – the only 7 where no one selected “Unknown”.
I hope this helps!
